UBUNTU CAMPAIGN FOR THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

I Stand Up for Dignity

On Mandela Day, join the global Ubuntu movement by reaffirming the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Make your voice count.

a call to action

Our Purpose

We stand to reaffirm the relevance and urgency of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) through two complementary actions:

A personal and symbolic gesture: inviting citizens worldwide to sign the UDHR, expressing their commitment to peace, justice, and equality.
A political and collective call: reminding States that they signed this pledge and have a duty to honor it
CONTEXT

Why Now?

Human rights are under constant threat, from war, poverty, discrimination, and indifference.

The UDHR, proclaimed in 1948 after World War II, marked a historic pledge to uphold dignity, freedom, and justice for all.
Over 70 years later, this promise remains unfulfilled.
Ubuntus worldwide unite to make the voice of human dignity heard once again.
