The second edition of the Ubuntu United Nations (UUN) is an initiative of the Ubuntu Leaders Academy and the Ubuntu Global Network. It will promote ethics of care, building of bridges and servant leadership, underpinned by the Ubuntu philosophy and it will be implemented for young people and with young people from all around the world.
The UUN is going to be composed of 3-member youth delegations from each of the 193 countries with a seat at the United Nations. These members are elected given their strong commitment to serving their communities for the common good.
English is the working language of the Ubuntu United Nations.
This training will take place in an online format, through the Zoom platform.

Ubuntu United Nations participants will be selected from applications submitted by 31 of March 2024 through:
3 participants will be selected per country. The jury will be made up of members of the Ubuntu Leaders Academy, members of the Ubuntu Global Network, and other relevant partners.
After analyzing the applications, the candidates will be contacted, via email, to join the group for the 2nd Edition of the Ubuntu United Nations.
Participation in the Ubuntu United Nations (2nd edition) is entirely free of charge.
Full attendance is required (including the Ubuntu United Nations launching event).
The Ubuntu Leaders Academy and the Ubuntu Global Network attach great importance to the evaluation, so each training session is subjected to qualitative evaluation and impact assessment, whose results will be presented at the end of the entire training process.
The Ubuntu Leaders Academy and the Ubuntu Global Network will award a certificate of participation at the end of the training program, to all participants who have fully attended the sessions and complied with the regulations of the Ubuntu United Nations (2nd edition).
